Insurance Representation:

SCG works with insurance companies and insurance adjusters to review elevator equipment that has been affected by water, fire or collision damage. As an independent third party, we provide the following services when estimating damage and determining origin: 

• Equipment profiles of components affected.
• Projected cost estimates and timetables to re-instate elevator service.
• Digital photographs of  conditions that will require full attention.
• Expert witness testimony and accident investigation.

Expediting: 

SCG has licensed NYC DOB expeditors on staff to facilitate your elevator’s mandatory inspections and research and expedite any open elevator related violations. Our staff will ensure that your elevators comply with current code requirements by providing the following services:

• PVT/ECB violation search.
• Cat 1/5 ELV3 filing.
• Affirmation of Corrections filing.
• Expedite violation dismissals and penalty payments.
• PVT, ECB, Cat 1 & 5, and previous Local Law 10/81 violation search and secure copies.
